Why it exists
Servers don't wait for you.

They fail at dinner, on the train, or the moment you leave your laptop behind. A generic terminal app can connect, but it is painful when something is on fire. ServerDr puts the commands, files and numbers you need within a thumb's reach.

STAGE 1

Connect

Save every server once, with a password or SSH private key. Credentials sit in Android Keystore-backed storage, so you never retype them in the field.

Password or keyKeystore secure storageOne-tap shortcuts
STAGE 2

Diagnose

CPU, memory, storage and the busiest processes on one screen, with a clear verdict at the top. Turn on monitoring to check every 1 to 60 minutes and watch services like nginx or sshd.

STAGE 3

Operate

Browse the remote file system over SFTP, edit a file in the built-in code editor and save it back. Change permissions, rename or download from the same sheet, then check the site in the web view.

STAGE 4

Secure

Run a read-only check of SSH hardening, root login, password authentication and open sockets. Each finding shows the raw evidence, and nothing is changed on your server.

Download the APK

Grab v1.0.0-b1 and open it on your phone.

Allow the install

Android asks you to allow installs from your browser or file manager. Enable it for this one app.

Pause Play Protect

The beta isn't from the Play Store, so Play Protect may block or warn about it. Open Play Store, tap your profile, then Play Protect, then the gear icon, and switch off "Scan apps with Play Protect". Install the APK, then switch it back on.

Seeing "Blocked by Play Protect"? Tap More details, then Install anyway, which avoids turning it off at all.

Add your server

Enter host, username and a password or SSH key, then tap Connect.

Do I need an account?

No. ServerDr connects directly from your phone to your server, with no sign-up and no relay in between.

Where are my credentials stored?

In Android Keystore-backed secure storage on your device, and nowhere else.

Does it install anything on my server?

No. It uses your existing SSH and SFTP service and runs standard Linux commands such as ss, df and journalctl.

Will the security check change my server?

No. It is read-only. It reports findings with the evidence behind them, and you decide what to do. It is not antivirus and not a guaranteed vulnerability scanner.

Why does Play Protect warn about the app?

Play Protect flags apps it hasn't seen before or that are installed outside the Play Store, and a new beta APK falls in both groups. Pause scanning for the install only, then turn it back on. Only install builds you downloaded from this page.

Is this a finished release?

It is Android Beta 1. Docker controls, background alerts and more are on the roadmap above, and bug reports are welcome.

your server still is.
